This was our culminating project in the Ratios & Proportions unit last fall. Our 5th grade math students used their ratio skills to create large scale drawings of their favorite cartoon characters.

I remember when we did our cartoons. I made something with the thinnest marker so there was about 20 million white spots. People had fully colored pictures but not me. My thing was half yellow, half white. I was very proud of it and it looked exactly the way I pictured it! Anonymous
